Christine's Library Staff Pick:

The Highland Witch

      Highland Witch chris cramer

"Come join me lassies & laddies and sit with me before the fire in my stone cottage and I will tell you an epic story, a story about witches, murder, imprisonment and truth. "
In this audio book, our narrator will take you to England and the glens of Scotland in the late 17th century.  Corag, our courageous English heroine, settles in with the clan MacDonald in Scotland.  Then, one fearful night she witnesses the massacre of the clan.  But, what happens to Corag?  Our narrator does a superb job with the English and Scottish accents delivering a lyrical and poetic version of this historical fiction book by Susan Fletcher that is unforgettable.

Insider Librarian Tips . . . from Katy:
helpful tips

If you no longer wish to keep an item on hold, you are able to cancel from our website under "my account".  There can be hundreds of people waiting for a popular item and cancelling your hold allows us shorten the wait and streamline the process.  Holds are fairly labor intensive, so help us conserve our manpower and tax dollars.
