Super 8 is a science fiction film similar to Close Encounters of the Third Kind. A group of kids witness a spectacular train wreck while making a film with their Super 8 camera and are soon drawn into the increasingly strange and inexplicable events that occur in their small town. When force and violence fail to resolve the threat to their community, the kids show that patience and understanding can.
