The Night Circus
I loved this fantasy by Erin Morgenstern from the first page. Only open at night, LeCirque des Reves is full of breathtaking experiences. Competition between two young magicians, Celia and Marco, trained since childhood, move the plot along at brisk pace. Only one of them is to survive the competition. Despite the high stakes, Celia and Marco fall in love leading to dangerous consequences for the lives of all involved. This novel would make a great movie!

NEW Book Club Meeting on
Tuesday Nights
Speaking of The Night Circus, it is our featured book for the August adult book club, now held twice monthly due to popular demand. Come for our usual third Thursday, August 16 from noon to 1:00 OR now the third Tuesday, August 14 at 6:30 to 7:30 in the program room. The new third Tuesday night meetings will continue for September, October, and November. December's meeting will be held only on the third Thursday.

1035 Children, 183 Teens Register for Summer Reading Program
Many thanks to all the staff, volunteers and sponsors who make the DPL Summer Reading Program another huge success for the greater Delafield area. Over 150 people attended the Grand Finale Dream Big Carnival alone on Friday, July 27. Please stop in and fill out a fall program survey to let us know what programs you'd like in the fall.

Thursday, August 9 from 6:00 to 7:30. Our previous mosaic program was full, so now you have another chance. All materials provided, or bring your own tile or stones to create your personalized stepping stone. Please call the library to register.
