Brean Humphry, Interim Executive Officer has sent public comment notice that the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board has voted to adopt changes to the regulations of an Audiology Aide. Additions are reflected by underlining the text and eliminations are reflected by striking out the text. Click here to see the full notification and proposed regulatory amendments. 

Major additions include terms of supervision, responsibilities of audiology aide supervisors, and activities, duties, and functions outside the scope of responsibility of an audiology aide.

Political Action Committee-PAC

The HHPCA PAC supports local representatives and legislation that is in the best interest of HHP and their patients. Your contribution at any level is helpful and appreciated.  PAC donations are necessary to help support our ongoing efforts, especially in a year like this year when we have sponsored legislation (see below).  By contributing to the PAC you are helping HHP to protect our profession, now and for the future.

Any member who contributes to the PAC will be invited to the annual PAC reception and receive a certificate of appreciation presented by the President at the HHP Annual Convention April 30 - May 3, 2014, Paradise Point Resort & Spa, San Diego, CA.
