HHP Managed Care Member,
You are being sent this e-mail as an invitation to op-in to an agreement with TruHearing. This opportunity is a result of your participation in the HHP Managed Program, but must be acted on promptly. Therefore, please review this information and take the necessary steps outlined below by no later than February 28.
Note: If you choose to submit the contract documents, please notify the HHP office by sending an e-mail attention Ellyse Dill, edill@amgoup.us. Your e-mail should include your full company name, address and NPI number and a note that you've submitted your TruHearing contract packet.
CONTRACT SPECIFICS
It is important to note that your location has been identified as being located in a geographic area in which TruHearing currently has clinics. Although TruHearing does not offer exclusivity, they do not activate a new provider where an established one is doing well with their patients. However, they can accept a new contract, and add the second clinic to the Network, but would not fully activate them until one of two events:
- The patient flow increases to where they need another clinic to meet the needs of increased patients.
- The current clinic is terminated or withdraws.
If your location is added as a second clinic, even though not fully activated, they will be first on the list for replacement or expansion. In the meantime, if a patient asks TruHearing for a clinic, or if you contact TruHearing with a patient you need to see, they would activate your location for that patient.
CLINIC MANAGEMENT - BRAND PREFERENCE:
Every contracted clinic has a preference for the brands they fit. In order to plan and manage their network, TruHearing needs to know your preferred brand. In the Contract docs, there is a Business Information Form that must be completed. At the top of that form is a section for brand preferences. Please be sure they fill that in.
TRAINING:
Once your location has signed on, TruHearing will arrange training on their systems and program procedures. It is important that every clinician and key staff person completes this training, so they will have a working knowledge of the TruHearing programs.
CONTRACTING PROCESS:
The process is simple. If you want to become a provider, simply fill out the attached Provider Contract, and send the completed Contract pages and supporting documentation to the email: mark@truhearing.com, or faxed to 801-938-2775.
Once TruHearing receives it, they will make the determination as to active or pending status. The clinic file will be created, and you will become part of the Network within a day or two. A member of TruHearing's Provider Relations Team will contact your office to train staff and set up your access to their provider web site.
If you have a patient who wants TruHearing program benefits, they simply call the Provider Relations Team at 866-581-9462. Any patient who contacts them directly and specifically requests the clinic, will be scheduled with that clinic. Otherwise, the patient gets scheduled to the active clinic most convenient to them.
If a clinic has home service or part time services in remote areas, they need to know that. They should call them directly to discuss this at:
MARK K. STRINGER
Administrative Assistant
TRUHEARING, INC.
877-396-7192
All of the current/updated Contract and program documentation is attached. Each clinic who wants to sign on should complete all of this documentation.
The two Flow Charts are just representative of TruHearing's process, and should not be taken as a preference for any one manufacturer.
Remember, the deadline is February 28.
If you choose to submit the contract documents, please notify the HHP office by sending an e-mail attention Ellyse Dill, edill@amgoup.us. Your e-mail should include your full company name, address and NPI number and a note that you've submitted your TruHearing contract packet.
