URGENT:  Medi-Cal Provider Survey
Respond TODAY

The Hearing Healthcare Providers California is requesting our Medi-Cal provider members take part in a survey being conducted by the California Academy of Audiology.  The survey is a joint effort to collect data regarding the impact of the new hearing aid reimbursement policy (effective January 15, 2013) on Medi-Cal/CCS providers and their patients. Please take a minute to answer these 15 questions.

ALL DATA WILL BE USED TO PREPARE A RESPONSE TO THE MEDI-CAL POLICY CHANGE, AND NO INDIVIDUAL RESPONSES WILL BE IDENTIFIABLE.

Medi-Cal Stakeholders Meeting
Wednesday, February 13

In response to providers' concerns with the policy change for hearing aids, effective for dates of service on or after January 15, 2013, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) has scheduled a stakeholders meeting to provide further input and data regarding concerns on access to services and how the reimbursement methodology compares to providers' cost of doing business.  DHCS plans to use this information to assess any needed changes to the reimbursement methodology and whether our beneficiaries have sufficient access to providers.

Additionally, the Department has reported that it will hold regular meetings with stakeholders as part of our ongoing access monitoring of hearing aid services.

The stakeholder discussion will be held on Wednesday, February 13 from 9:00-10:00 at the following location:
