Year Round

If you haven't seen all of the buzz on social media, this week is National Farmers Market Week.  Lots of markets have/had special events this week to celebrate the national proclamation.  Its a great promotion, advocacy and education piece that spotlights farmers markets in the peak of the season.

Thank you for your support and enthusiasm while shopping at farmers markets and enjoying local produce and farm products.  We appreciate your loyalty and the fact that you celebrate "National Farmers Market Week" May through October/November and some even into the winter months!

We'll see you at market!!

Get Your Bib On! Photo Contest
We are very excited to tell you about our "Get Your Bib On!" Photo Contest.  As you all know our peaches are super juicy...so  juicy that you need a bib to eat them.  And that's Our Peach Promise:  You'll Have Juice Dripping Off Your Chin!

With your $15 purchase of yellow peaches, you will get a free juicy peach bib (or the bibs are for sale for $1.50 each).  And what do you do with the awesome bib?  Eat awesome peaches and take selfies!!

Submit your Juicy Peach Bib Photos to us and we'll vote on our favorite photos.  The top 3 winners will get gift certificates to Kuhn Orchards ($50, $20 and $10 values).

You have until the end of August to get us your pictures.  And we'll announce the winners by September 5th.  All of the details regarding the "Get Your Bib On!" Photo Contest is posted on our website.

Be creative.  Have fun.  Share with your friends.
We can't wait to see your Juicy Peach Bib photos!!

How to Peel a Peach
Peaches are pretty much free-stone and they come off the pit nicely. And when they are free-stone...you know what that means!  It's time to slice, chop, bake, puree, grill, freeze, can, jam, and more until your heart is content!

We have lots of experience peeling peaches.  Mary Margaret, Diane and Dave will share with you their method of peeling a peach. Check out our YouTube video to learn how they peel a peach!

Fill-A-Box Update
We were very pleased with the interest in the Fill-A-Box Special that we featured last week.  We hope to offer a Fill-A-Box
special the first week of each month for the remainder of the market season. Future boxes will feature mixes of peaches, apples, and pears.  We'll let you know when you can place the next order, so stay tuned to our newsletter and Facebook posts.
We look forward to seeing you at the Farmers Market!
