A weekend celebration of the Arts is happening May 24th-26th at One Island's sustainable living center in Honaunau.
 
The community is invited to an
Art Stroll in the Gardens and we welcome local artists to submit works to be included in this outdoor community celebration of the arts.
  

Sculptors, painters, musicians, poets, dancers, body art, traditional Hawaiian art, kinetic work, recycled material

Hawaii Artists are invited to submit a digital portfolio of a sculpture or visual/performing art piece they would like to showcase - or create on site - for a juried panel review. Entries due by May 12th. Selected artists will be notified on May 15th. All media welcomed. Nature/environmental-themed and natural materials encouraged.

All entries will be showcased online and 12 works will be selected to showcase in the gardens or under roof in the education center May 24th-26th. Entry fee, $15 per work.       (8-10 works will be exhibited outdoors, 2-4 inside under cover in the Center.)

Grand Prize: Deluxe oceanfront overnight at the Mauna Lani Resort*

Artist tour with walk-through of gardens for siting options, before submitting entry, is available May 8th 10am-noon (RSVP for tour). Selected artists will be announced May 15th. Installation dates are May 22nd -23rd. Artists Reception is Friday evening the 24th.
