Welcome Back!

Whether you need resources for parent night, research, or professional development, you'll find them at www.infohio.org. Below are just a few. Find even more support for parent nights, blended learning, early literacy, and much more in the INFOhio Toolkit, infohio.org/goto/toolkit.

PARENT NIGHT

Find flyers--in English and Spanish--videos, and presentations just right for parent nights in INFOhio's Toolkit. The flyers and videos give parents great ideas for incorporating reading practice in everyday activities like grocery shopping and driving down the street. Click Parent Resources in the Toolkit to see the whole list.

For the upper grades, let parents know about ISearch. Try showing the three-minute ISearch Video Tutorial for Students to let parents know ISearch is the place to start whenever their child has a project due. Or try using any of the other ideas on the Share ISearch with Parents tab in the Educator Guide to ISearch.

RESEARCH

ISearch Logo Start research with ISearch. ISearch lets students search nearly all of INFOhio's digital journals, newspapers, e-books, reports, fact sheets, and more from just one search box and prepares them for the kind of research they will do in college and beyond. Go to www.infohio.org/students and then enter a search term in the ISearch search box.

ISearch makes blended learning even easier for teachers with the new PDF to the Cloud feature and a direct connection to Google Classroom.

If you'd like a research curriculum, try GO! Ask Act Achieve with grades 4-10 and Research 4 Success for grades 11 and 12. Both websites help students with research, from framing a research question to presenting and evaluating the results.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Success in Six Logo Success in Six is an online self-paced program that shows you the latest ways to use digital resources to support 1:1 learning, blended learning, personalized learning, differentiation, and a host of other student needs. Each of the six modules earns you three contact hours when completed and are offered at no charge to any Ohio educator.
