World Book Kids Updated! More to Come! World Book Kids New Interface
Have you seen the updated World Book Kids? It's available now on the INFOhio website. And in mid-May you will see updates to
  • World Book Student
  • World Book Advanced
  • EBSCO's Kids Search
  • EBSCO's Student Research Center (6-8 and 9-12)
  • Searchasaurus
All of the updates will provide more engaging browsing and searching for students along with expanded support for teachers.

For example, as you can see from the picture of WB Kids above, the new interface is much more colorful, graphic, and engaging. World Book has added many more teacher tools and educational games. These games test vocabulary, matching, and other skills that not only help kids meet Ohio's New Learning Standards, but also give them practice in tech skills for online testing. There's also a new predictive search feature that helps students find related topics.

Find a complete list of the changes on the World Book site, or take six minutes to watch the INFOhio World Book Kids Video Tutorial. Feeling adventurous? Start exploring on your own at http://www.infohio.org/students/er/item/world-book-kids.
