Marina Note - Norwalk Cove and Rex Marine
Cove Service and Parts Department will be closed from Thanksgiving day through Sunday, reopening Monday morning. The dock water and pump out system is OFF at Norwalk  Cove and the water is OFF at Rex Marine.
The portable pump out units are available - please call the service department if you are concerned.Please remember that tarps and covers should be tied to the boat, NOT the poppets supporting the boat. Strong winds could create a sail from the cover and rip the poppets away...

Manresa Power Plant Update
The Manresa Association has reached its $75,000 fundraising goal for the Economic Impact Analysis that is being conducted in a public/private partnership with  the City of Norwalk.
The next step is to get the formal approval of the Common Council at their December meeting to go to contract with the firm that has been unanimously chosen by the Steering Committee. Seven firms responded to the Request For Proposal and several of the proposals were outstanding. As soon as the Common Council gives its OK to go to contract, we will have a press release announcing the firm and the successful fundraising campaign.
In January, at a TBD date, there will be a public meeting to outline the approach to the Economic Impact Analysis, the key elements and timeline. We anticipate that the results of the Analysis will be available by mid-2017. This January meeting will be another opportunity for everyone to ask questions and provide input on the Analysis.
