The Norwalk Boat Show was a Great Success
The boat show was Great! Perfect weather, a variety of new products and past favorite
attractions and a positive overall mood from attendees and exhibitors set the tone.
This year the show was 20% larger, with more boats and products on display than in past years and attracted 14,839 visitors, a six percent increase over 2015 attendance!
Early reports indicate the show attracted serious buyers and resulted in a solid event for all exhibiting.

The Norwalk Harbor Management Commission just released it's summer 2016 newsletter with the latest news  about the WALK railroad bridge, dredging, pollution and the Yankee Doodle Bridge (over I-95) and a summary of last summer's safe boating week.
The Norwalk Harbor Management Commission is dedicated to helping preserve and enhance the use, vitality, and quality of life associated with the Norwalk Harbor and Long Island Sound by evaluating issues, making recommendations, and providing support to the City of Norwalk.

13th ANNUAL AMERICAN YACHT CLUB
HIGH PERFORMANCE DINGHY OPEN
presented by Heineken
Over 80 boats have registered  for this fun event. Position yourself on the outside of one of the turning marks and watch the spectacle as dozens of one design dinghies (including foiling Moths) set or drop their spinnakers and fly away on a plane. The Earthplace Festival
The Earthplace mission is to build a passion in our community for nature and the environment through education, experience and action. Join them for their  third annual Earthplace Festival this weekend with live music, a mechanical Bull, great food (Harvest Dinner Sat & Food Trucks Sun), Fairy houses, corn pool, Critter encounters and more fun!
Earthplace, in Westport offers interaction and feeding of animals and birds, nature walks, a preschool, summer camps, winter programs, harbor watch (water quality sampling and reporting) and special events.
