Their Formation, History, Secrets, Stories and Navigation Tips around and between the 25 plus Islands.
   
From the ice age and the formation of Long Island Sound by the retreating glaciers, the Indians and early settlers, to the Oyster Industry, Hotels, Bordellos and Prohibition Speakeasy's.  The Norwalk Islands have always played an integral part in the development of Norwalk and the region. Public Islands, Private Sanctuaries, Posh Retreats.... all right off the Norwalk shoreline.

USCG Capt Course Returns to Rex Marine Starting Mon. March 14!
 
The USCG Captain's Exam "Express" course is designed for busy executives/experienced boaters who want to learn the critical components of the OUPV ("six pack") and Master's license exams in the shortest possible time.  

3 weeks - Mon & Thurs nights 7-9:30 pm  
The $395 tuition includes text book, plotting tools and chart, and all USCG Forms.

Greenwich Sail & Power Squadron

This eight week course focuses on how weather systems form, behave, move, and interact with one another and reviews the availability of the many types of weather reports and forecasts available on the Internet.

Start Date: Tuesday, March 15
Cost: $95 per student (discounts for families sharing materials) Includes text book with cloud chart and 3 weather maps.
