Vernal Equinox, Supermoon and a Total Eclipse

Friday welcomes the astronomical Spring (finally) as well as two other significant events, a supermoon and a lunar eclipse.
The total eclipse will best be viewed from Europe, but the supermoon will be viewable  from the Northeast US.
The supermoon is either a full moon or a new moon that occurs during the moon's closest approach to Earth on its elliptical orbit. This proximity results in the appearance of a larger lunar disk, around 15 percent larger. With the solar eclipse happening simultaneously with the new supermoon, astronomers will be able to view the new moon's silhouette, something that is normally impossible.
Note: In Annapolis, boaters throw a "Burn the Socks" Party to celebrate the end of Winter. Sounds Fun!

Shrink Wrap Recycling
Please don't put shrink wrap cover material and scraps in the standard trash dumpsters. Check with the yard office to find out where and when special dumpsters will be located. Please put wood framing materials in a pile next to the dumpster and not mixed with the shrink wrap waste. Thanks
