Shipwrecked sailor rescues his dog,
but forgets his wife...  

There are lots of 'maybe's' in the story, but it certainly has the sailing world laughing. A South African sailor has become a mini-celebrity in a way he probably doesn't want, after rescuing his Jack Russell from his stricken sail boat, but forgetting his wife.

Navionics Presentation: Help Remap the Connecticut Coast and Support the Hurricane Sandy Recovery  

 

Thurs. Sept. 5th, 7:00 PM at Norwalk Cove    

 

Navionics has partnered with Norwalk Cove Marina and other local businesses to organize the Remap Connecticut Coast Project.  

 

This Project will remap areas along the Connecticut coast affected by Hurricane Sandy.  

 

 How it works:  Garmin and Hummingbird users can record sonar logs, and then upload them to the Navionics Chartinstaller. Updated charts, reflecting everyone's contributions to SonarCharts and Community Edits, can be downloaded after about one week.
