We Survived Sandy and the Nor'easter !
With some flooding and minor damage (for the most part) Cove and Rex have weathered the storms. We were very lucky Sandy moved through quickly and the tidal surge was less than expected. It actually cresting one hour before high tide was scheduled, and the high water mark in the Cove shop exceeded the Dec.' 92 storm by only 12". At the height of the storm we had over 4000 hits on our fuel dock web cam !
A big THANKS to all who came early to secure their boats, and to all that helped with other's boats. We really have an incredible community of boaters at both marinas.
Now we focus on racing old man winter, hauling and blocking, winterizing and wrapping !
