It's time to check the oil, coolant and that the prop is clean. How are those zincs looking ?
Is it time for a short haul to clean the bottom before your trip ? The marine growth this year is more
aggressive than ever, with props, struts, thru - hulls, strainers and heat exchangers fouled with growth and barnacles.

Mini Golf is a Hit !

Marine Safety Tip:
Depths on charts are always given at LOW tide (mean low water)
Bridge Clearance is always given at HIGH tide (mean high water)
On a chart, the INNER compass rose indicates magnetic North (what your compass reads)
A depth on a chart marked with an underline ( 2 ) indicates a spot (or rock) that covers and uncovers at high and low tide with the underlined number the height above the Chart Datum at high tide. For fun...... Look closely at your Norwalk Islands chart !
