File a Float Plan Before Heading Out !
A float plan is a written description that you leave with someone before you head out in your boat (or kayak, or
canoe, etc.)
It's an easy way to insure that you will be missed if you
don't return and will tell those looking for you the information they'll need to know.
It also allows the marina to make sure a transient guest is not in your slip when you return !

PIRATE NIGHT at COVE

Where: Behind the Ship's Store at Cove
Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm
Join us for a night of music, frolicking and fun! Captain Condell and his crew of the HMS 'Dragon' will entertain the crowd with stories about one of our local legends, Captain Kidd.
The Brawling Buccaneers will settle their differences in a real swordfight! Blackhearted Jenny will regale you with her repertoire of sea shanty songs.
B.Y.O.B. as Captain Morgan will not be here! Cove will supply soft drinks.

New London Opsail:
Last Saturday Opsail 2012 & Sailfest took place
in New London Harbor. Rex Marine's Michael Garvey attended the event and toured some of
the amazing ships on display.
The event started with a tall ship parade of towering schooners, navy warships, coast guard patrol boats and other spectacular vessels....

shall keep out of the way of the
vessel being overtaken.
(This includes sailboats overtaking
power boats)
