2012 Public Horseshoe Crab Tagging with The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk at Calf Pasture Beach

The horseshoe crabs are coming in to spawn and the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk will be there, tags at the ready, for the sixth consecutive year. Led by staff member Joe Schnierlein, the horseshoe crab tagging and census study will give scientists a better understanding of the ancient creatures. Volunteers are needed to meet the Maritime staff at Calf Pasture Beach to assist the team with tagging.
The next date is Monday, June 4 evening at 11:15 PM for high tide census and tagging and June 5 Low tide tagging - 5:00 AM
