  Saint Patrick's Weekly Reminders
May 7, 2015
Please join us this Sunday for worship at 8:30 or 10:30 am. Children's Chapel resumes this week during the first half of the 10:30 am service. Lectionary Bible study for adults takes places in the Youth Room at 9:30 am.

This is the third week of experiencing Sabbath. It's not too late to pick a Sabbath day of rest for you and your household. Try out the new spiritual practice and think of a place to post the quote where you will see it. Use the Consider using the meditative music any time you need a Sabbath pause. Use the calendar only if you really need an organized reminder. Consider using the Sabbath prayer daily to help form the holy rhythm of ministry and Sabbath internally. Finally you can sign up for spiritual guidance and a chance to ask questions through email by clicking here. Your Assistant Rector will send you a once weekly email

As an integral part of an ongoing commitment to keep you informed, the Vestry will hold an Update Forum following the 10:30 am. service next Sunday, May 17th. Planned to be around 20 minutes long, the key topics will be a "Financial Update" and "New Signage." Next Sunday, please grab your coffee and join the forum to keep informed of developments at Saint Patrick's.

Jim Hurst is returning to Saint Patrick's as part of our Solas Leighis Concert Series next Sunday, May 17th at 7:00 pm. Jim combines savvy guitar picking, broad vocal range and a musical eclecticism that culminates in jaw-dropping performances. The event includes a wine and cheese reception, so if you are planning to attend, please bring a finger food to share. Tickets at the door: $15 adults and $10 students/seniors. For more details, click here.

Our next scheduled day to serve as Prep Chefs at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen is on Tuesday, May 12th from 1 to 4 pm. Currently we still have many slots to fill. We are in need of 6 to 10 volunteers, 16 years of age and older who can commit to helping to prepare the frozen meals for those in need. You can sign up to help by clicking
