  Saint Patrick's Weekly Reminders
April 16, 2015
Please join us for worship this Sunday at 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. Children's Chapel resumes this Sunday as does our Adult Bible Study that meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Youth Room.

We are delighted to welcome the Rev. Canon Cathie Caimano to our community this Sunday. Canon Caimano will preach at both services and also lead our Adult Forum immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service (see below).

As a follow up to her fall presentation on sabbatical and sabbath practices, the Rev. Canon Cathie Caimano will host a Rector's Forum this Sunday, April 19th to continue the conversation.  In addition to a brief recap on the practice of clergy sabbatical, Cathie will lead us into a consideration of ways in which we can all, individually and corporately, deepen our practices of spiritual rest.   The forum will take place immediately following the 10:30am service.

As a supplement to the two Rector's Forums led by the Rev. Canon Cathie Caimano, the church leadership has created a simple sabbatical Q&A pamphlet for the congregation. Printed copies are available in the Narthex and electronic copy can be found by clicking

Saint Patrick's VIVA Seniors Group will be traveling to Seagrove, NC this coming Tuesday, April 21st to visit Seagrove Pottery Gallery. Sea grove features local pottery, sculptures, glass, basketry and lawn and garden items. With many local artists, Seagrove is a unique place offering the true art of hand made pottery at its finest. Plan to meet in the parking lot of Saint Patrick's at 9:30 am (note the time change). Contact Cindi Davis (704) 582-3862 with questions or details.

The annual Youth Beach Trip is planned for April 24 to 26 to Cherry Grove in North Myrtle Beach. Cost of the trip including lodging, meals and transportation is $140. Scholarships are available on a need basis. Please contact Mark Fowler (704) 500-3263, or email him by clicking here.

The Youth Pilgrims are currently selling Auto Bell Car wash coupons to benefit the Summer 2015 Pilgrimage. Cost of each ticket good for an interior and exterior cleaning is $16 (the same as you pay at the carwash), of which we get to keep $7.99. We will offer the tickets for the month of April and possibly early May. Please support this effort and get a clean car to boot!

Mark your calendars! Please note that the date for Anniversary has changed! Anniversary Sunday will now be held on Sunday, May 3rd. Please mark your calendars and plan to be present as we celebrate the 24th anniversary of Saint Patrick's. Download a flyer by clicking here

Our next scheduled day to serve as Prep Chefs at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen is on Tuesday, May 12th from 1 to 4 pm. Currently we still have many slots to fill. We are in need of 6 to 10 volunteers, 16 years of age and older who can commit to helping to prepare the frozen meals for those in need. You can sign up to help by clicking
