We are in need of folks who can help move furniture from the hallway back into the classrooms in time for our preschool to return from Christmas break on Monday. The original plan was to do it immediately after church on Sunday, but we have learned it might be more convenient for folks to do it on Saturday morning. If you are available to help, please be here by 11 am on Saturday. Many hands make light work! Thank you!
Acolytes are needed to assist with worship on Sunday mornings. Click here to sign up.
Please consider supporting the Diocesan Harvest for Hospitality Campaign. Each family of the parish is being asked to prayerfully consider contributing $50.00 to the campaign. Consider this amount a guideline. Contributions of more or less are most welcome and will greatly assist the diocese in ministering to the underserved population of migrant farmworkers in our state. Checks may be made payable to Saint Patrick's and placed in the Sunday morning offering plate or mailed to the church office. Be sure to include "Harvest for Hospitality" in the memo line. For more information about the campaign please click here to see the letter that was sent to every parish family. Also, please consider exploring the diocesan website by clicking here for detailed information.
We have been blessed with Dr. Karen Oldham presenting on mindfulness and meditation at Saint Patrick's during an Adult Forum. Now we have the chance for Karen to teach a 4 week class (8 total hours). For anyone interested in beginning a practice, this is a fantastic opportunity. Please click here for a brochure with more details. Exact times will be determined by the availability of those who express interest. The cost for an 8-hour class is $180 a person, which includes the Beginner's Mindfulness Companion Guidebook. This is the last week to express interest in the class. To put your name on the list of those interested, please click here.
