Please consider supporting the Diocesan Harvest for Hospitality Campaign. Each family of the parish is being asked to prayerfully consider contributing $50.00 to the campaign. Consider this amount a guideline. Contributions of more or less are most welcome and will greatly assist the diocese in ministering to the underserved population of migrant farmworkers in our state. Checks may be made payable to Saint Patrick's and placed in the Sunday morning offering plate or mailed to the church office. Be sure to include "Harvest for Hospitality" in the memo line. For more information about the campaign please click here to see the letter that was sent to every parish family. Also, please consider exploring the diocesan website by clicking here for detailed information.
We have been blessed with Dr. Karen Oldham presenting on mindfulness and meditation at Saint Patrick's during an Adult Forum. Now we have the chance for Karen to teach a 4 week class (8 total hours). For anyone interested in beginning a practice, this is a fantastic opportunity. Please click here for a brochure with more details. Exact times will be determined by the availability of those who express interest. The cost for an 8-hour class is $180 a person, which includes the Beginner's Mindfulness Companion Guidebook. We are in need of volunteers who can help move furniture out and back into our classrooms on two more occasions over the holidays. This will enable our classroom floors to be stripped and waxed. First, we need help after the 10:30 service this Sunday December 28 and again January 4 after the 10:30 services. If you can help this Sunday, please jump in and help. For future dates, please look for the volunteer form located in the Narthex. Many hands make light work! Thank you!
