Please join for worship this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Children's Chapel for children in preschool through grade 5 will take place during the first half of the 10:30 service. A reminder that a lectionary bible study for adults is offered every Sunday between services at 9:30 am. Please note that the Shamrocks will not have practice this Sunday. Practice will resume on December 7th to prepare for Christmas.

Thank you to those who have already returned their Pledge Cards to the parish office.  If you have not already done so, please return your pledge card by December 1 so that we can properly budget for 2015.   Every Member Counts! "

Acolytes are needed to assist with worship on Sunday mornings. Click here to sign up.

We have been blessed with Dr. Karen Oldham presenting on mindfulness and meditation at Saint Patrick's during an Adult Forum. Now we have the chance for Karen to teach a 4 week class (8 total hours). For anyone interested in beginning a practice, this is a fantastic opportunity. Please click here for a brochure with more details. Exact times will be determined by the availability of those who express interest. To put your name on the list of those interested, please click here

Celebrate Advent through the stories of Mary, Joseph and the Angel Gabriel. We will gather on three Wednesday evenings: December 3rd, 10th, and 17th. We will begin with dinner, enjoy a program of song, poetry, art, scripture, reflection and close with Eucharist as we journey through the weeks of Advent. Our schedule will be: Dinner 6 to 6:30 pm; Program: 6:30 to 7:30 pm; Eucharist: 7:30 to 8 pm. If you wish to attend we ask that you please sign up by clicking here

Robin Bullock returns to Saint Patrick's on Sunday, December 7, at 7:00 pm to once again kick off the Christmas season with his Celtic Christmas.  Robin brings the music of Christmas to life with carols and hymns spanning over 600 years, celebrating the Yuletide season with selections on guitar, cittern, mandolin and piano.  He weaves a spell from centuries of tradition and the joy of the season, creating an unforgettable event of acoustic Christmas cheer.  A wine and cheese reception is included during intermission.  If you are planning to attend, please bring a finger food for the reception.  At the door: $15 adults, $10 seniors/students.  All proceeds benefit community outreach.  For more details, visit our web site by clicking here or call (704) 663-5659.

Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks. Advent is a time to prepare and Outreach has several opportunities to do both. Thanksgiving gives us an opportunity to be faithful stewards of God's great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need. Advent is a time of waiting and preparation as we welcome the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas. As in prior years, Saint Patrick's will host seven nights at Room in the Inn beginning on December 19th. The online sign up for Room in the Inn has begun. You can read all the details and sign up by clicking here.

In addition to RITI, we will again be providing Christmas gifts to children less fortunate through the Winnie Hooper Center. Starting next Sunday a table will be set up after both services for us at Saint Patrick's to find out how we can provide Christmas gifts to others. Together we can make a difference in this season of Christmas!

Perhaps you have noticed that some people have name tags with green ink. If so, that person is new to Saint Patrick's and we hope that you will introduce yourself and make the person feel welcomed. Saint Patrick's has a reputation of being a very welcoming church and we want to embrace our new members and invite them to join in the many activities that Saint Patrick's offers. Please help our new folks in making these connections.

Attention Youth: Registration for this year's Bishop's Ball (Dec. 12-14) will close on December 3rd. You can register online by clicking

here. Scholarships are available on the website. Cost for the weekend is $100. Contact Mark Fowler if you need assistance registering.

Our next scheduled day to serve as Prep Chefs at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen is on Tuesday, December 9 from 1 to 4 pm. Currently we still have many slots to fill. We are in need of 6 to 10 volunteers, 16 years of age and older who can commit to helping to prepare the frozen meals for those in need. You can sign up to help by clicking here
