As human beings, we are essentially comprised of body, mind and spirit. These three aspects of our humanity are interwoven and mutually support one another. Thus, as persons concerned about our spiritual journey into wholeness, we must be necessarily concerned with nurturing all three aspects of our being. To this end, and considering our worship and spiritual formation opportunities already nurture mind and spirit, we will be offering a Wellness Eucharist at the 10:30am service on Sunday, September 21st. Following an abbreviated Eucharistic liturgy, the community will be invited to participate together in numerous fitness activities. Activities will be offered for all ages and abilities. Walking groups, jogging groups, biking groups, gentle yoga, 'Silver Sneakers' seated exercise and various outdoor games will be offered. Please mark your calendars for this fun and significant liturgical opportunity! All are welcome!

One of the ministries at Saint Patrick's which we support is the Christian Mission, and we have been doing this over the last almost three years through our "Just One Can" program. Out of our abundance we have been able to supply well over 2 tons worth of non-perishable items in the way of canned goods, dry food items, toilet paper, diapers, and even cat-food, just to name a few items. There is always a need to help our neighbors in Mooresville, and we can do this in such a simple manner; Remember Just One Can. You can be part of this ministry each and every week by just giving a little of your abundance.
Each year in November, Saint Patrick's members return to Kanuga for a weekend of fun, food and fellowship. Kanuga is an Episcopal Camp and Conference Center just outside Hendersonville, North Carolina. Our weekend this year is scheduled for November 7-9, starting with supper on Friday night and ending with lunch on Sunday. If you never have been to Kanuga you owe it to yourself to go and spend some spiritual quality time at this wonderful retreat. More information to come, but you can contact David Bramigk via email by clicking here or 704-528-4749 if you have any questions.
