A Taste of Wine on Main Street to benefit the Christian Mission will be held on Friday, September 5th from 6:30 until 9:00 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Please bring your friends for a great night of wine tasting and strolling through eight great retailers in our quaint downtown. Wrap up the night at 202 N. Our next scheduled day to serve as Prep Chefs at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen is on Tuesday, September 9th from 1 to 4 pm. Currently we still have many slots to fill. We are in need of 6 to 10 volunteers, 16 years of age and older who can commit to helping to prepare the frozen meals for those in need. You can sign up to help by clicking here

Saint James Episcopal Church will be holding a Pancake Brunch on Saturday, August 23rd from 9 am until 1 pm. Cost is $5 per adult and $3 per child. Saint James is located at 851 Shinnville Road in Mooresville. All proceeds from the brunch will be divided between Shepherd Elementary School supplies and the Brody Wallace Thompson Scholarship fund.
