Saint Patrick's Weekly Reminders

Please join us for worship this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Children's Chapel will be in session for children in preschool through grade 5 throughout the summer months.
Plan to be present with us next Sunday,June 8th as we celebrate the 23rd anniversary of our parish. Due to the ongoing landscaping and irrigation project taking place on our property, it has become necessary to cancel plans for the outdoor service and parish picnic that day. We will however liturgically recognize our anniversary during the service and we will also continue with plans to hold only one service that morning at 10:30 am, so that our entire community can be together. We will celebrate immediately after the service with a cake and refreshment reception. Please join us!
Please consider joining us after the 10:30 AM service on Sunday, June 8 for a dedication and blessing of our new landscaping. Thanks to a generous gift from Beth Vannais, Saint Patrick's is now blessed to enjoy a newly sodded and seeded campus, beautiful new landscape plantings, and an irrigation system for the entire landscaped property. We are grateful for this gift, and look forward to blessing and celebrating its beauty with Beth.
The installation of the irrigation system and landscaping is proceeding and will be completed in a matter of a few days. This includes plantings of bushes and shrubs in the new landscape beds, and sodding and seeding of grass, all of which will need time to grow in properly. We respectfully ask that everyone please keep off the grass and sodded areas and out of the landscape beds until further notice so that the areas can grow in unimpeded and we can all enjoy the beautiful grounds for many years to come. Many thanks to all who have worked so diligently over the last few years to make this possible and to implement a wonderful plan to enhance and beautify our Church property. And, a very special thanks to Beth Vannais for being the primary benefactor of this amazing gift.
The Youth Program will meet Youth From Holy Spirit Church Cummings, Ga for a day of Outreach & Fun this Saturday May 30 from 9:30 until 2:00 at the Christian Mission Center and an after party at Mr. & Mrs Ted Kratt's house on Lake Norman. Also the End of Year Lake Party will be held at Vienna & Pete Barger's house right after the 10:30 Service this Sunday June 1st, bring your swimsuit, sunscreen and a towel!
Saint Patrick's Church has been invited to participate along with St. Albans in offering an evening Episcopal worship opportunity for the clients of the Mooresville soup kitchen. These will occur once a month on a weeknight with exact times to be determined at a later date. At this point in time, our rector, Mark Forbes, is seeking to determine if we have a large enough interest amongst the congregation to participate. On Tuesday, June 17th, the Saint Patrick's senior VIVA group will be traveling to Yadkin Valley to visit Shelton Vineyards. Please arrive at the Church parking lot by 11:00 so we can arrive at the Vineyards Harvest Grill for lunch from 12:00 to 12:30 pm. Following lunch there will be a tour of the Winery followed by a wine tasting. The winery is handicapped accessible and all are welcome. Cost is $5 and does not include lunch. Our next scheduled day to serve as Prep Chefs at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen is on Tuesday, June 10th from 1 to 4 pm. Currently there are many slots to fill. We are in need of 6 to 10 volunteers, 16 years of age and older who can commit to helping to prepare the frozen meals for those in need. You can sign up to help by clicking here
