Please join us for worship this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Children's Chapel will be in session for children in preschool through grade 5. It was incorrectly reported last week that Children's Chapel goes into hiatus during the summer months. It does not stop during the summer so plan to have the children attend Children's Chapel all summer long. We apologize for the confusion.
Saint Patrick's has been invited to participate in a national pilot offering of ChurchNext, an online school for Christian education. Our rector, Mark Forbes, is looking for individuals who would like to participate in this free pilot program. The classes are short (i.e. 45 minutes), engaging, and led by recognized teachers in their fields. They are also completely flexible in that students can engage any class whenever and wherever they want ....all that is needed is a PC, a tablet, or mobile device with an Internet connection. Mark your calendars and plan to be present when we celebrate the 23rd anniversary of our parish on June 8th!! Due to the ongoing landscaping and irrigation project taking place on our property, it has become necessary to cancel plans for the outdoor service and parish picnic that day. We will however liturgically recognize our anniversary during the service and we will also continue with plans to hold only one service that morning at 10:30 am, so that our entire community can be together. We will celebrate immediately after the service with a cake and refreshment reception. Please join us!
Our next scheduled day to serve as Prep Chefs at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen is on Tuesday, June 10th from 1 to 4 pm. Currently there are many slots to fill. We are in need of 6 to 10 volunteers, 16 years of age and older who can commit to helping to prepare the frozen meals for those in need. You can sign up to help by clicking here
