This play features a single mother and daughter who search for the real meaning of Christmas. DCP transforms the Armour Street Theater into a radio studio and invites the audience to become a part of the magic. The universal theme of "hope in the times of uncertainty" make "Miracle on 34th Street" one not to be missed. Tickets are $19 and can be purchased in the Narthex following the 10:30 am service. We are limited to only 16 seats so please do not delay! The deadline for purchasing tickets is this Sunday, December 1st. Thanks to some very generous parishioner donations, Saint Patrick's is graced to have new liturgical hangings for our sanctuary this Advent and Christmas. During the season of Advent, our altar, lectern, chasubles and clergy stoles will be a highly refined Anglican blue adorned with our traditional Jerusalem cross. This ancient Anglican color for Advent presents a hue of deep blue akin to that which is experienced just before a morning sunrise, which makes it most appropriate for us in Advent as we await with expectant hope the imminent rising of Christ at Christmas. For our Christmas celebration, we have been gifted celebratory hangings which are beautifully adorned in rich hues and patterns of gold. These new celebratory hangings, which will also be used for Easter, evoke a sense of Christ' s rising in all his splendid glory!
In just over three weeks, we will begin preparing our worship space for Christmas services by decorating with beautiful trees, wreaths and poinsettias.
