Please join us for worship this Sunday at 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. Children in preschool through grade 5 are invited to join Kristen Forbes and a volunteer during the first half of the 10:30 a.m. service for a lesson and some fellowship (play time).

There are several Sundays this summer where assistance is needed in the nursery.  If you are interested in helping out for one or more of those dates, please contact Kristen Forbes by clicking

Volunteers are currently being sought who would be willing to teach Christian Education for children this fall. Teachers are needed for preschoolers through grade 5. If you are able to help, please contact Kristen Forbes by clicking here.

Building and Grounds will sponsor a Property Clean Up Day this Saturday, June 15th beginning at 9:00 a.m. Projects will include: spreading pine needles, washing windows, cleaning the kitchen, pressure-washing sidewalks, painting the hallway near the kitchen, and planting annual flowers. If you are able to come and lend a hand, please bring along a pair of work gloves and also any garden tools that you might have.

Saint Patrick's to designate July as a Sabbath month. Sabbath practices of all kinds are very important.  They provide a biological, psychological and spiritual balance that positions us for deeper and more vibrant living.  It has come to my attention that Saint Patrick's used to employ a wonderful practice of taking a "July Sabbath."  During the month of July, the church's volunteer ministries took a sabbath from all work that was not directly related to worship.  The parish rested for a month.  This makes sense to me.  Just as we are called to rest one day a week, so too are we called to longer periods of extended rest.  I encourage all non-worship related ministries to consider taking up the practice.  Let's reengage a vital spiritual practice.  In Faith, Mark Forbes.

Saint Patrick's is no longer recycling aluminum cans for revenue, using the large trash can that was placed outside each Sunday. Thanks to Amy Vershel for her work in managing this effort. Please take advantage of the many ways these cans may now be recycled, such as through the transfer station, "Can-Do" efforts at schools, through regular recycling pick-up, etc. For the occasional aluminum can you may have at church, please us the recycling bins located in the hallway between the choir room and kitchen. Please remember to rinse or empty all recyclables.
