Saint Patrick's Weekly Reminders
May 23, 2013

We invite you to join us this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Christian Education for adults, youth and children has been suspended for the summer for the summer months. However, children in preschool through grade 5 are invited to join Kristen Forbes and a volunteer for a lesson and some fellowship (play time) during the first half of the 10:30 a.m. service.

Saint Patrick's will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of our parish on Sunday, June 2nd. Will will mark the occasion with an outdoor service. One service will be held that day at 10:30 a.m. The service will be followed immediately by our annual parish picnic. Click  here to read all the details.

A word from the church office concerning pastoral care: please do not rely on word-of-mouth or social media networks to inform the clergy of pastoral needs. Such messaging often does not reach us. Please contact the church office directly if you desire a pastoral response from clergy.

Building and Grounds will sponsor a Property Clean Up Day on Saturday, June 15th beginning at 9:00 a.m. Projects will include: spreading pine needles, washing windows, cleaning the kitchen, pressure-washing sidewalks, painting the hallway near the kitchen, spreading wood chips in the playground and planting annual flowers. If you are able to come and lend a hand, please bring along a pair of work gloves and also any garden tools that you might have.

The Outreach committee introduced a new ministry last week, partnering with the Mooresville Soup Kitchen. Click here

Saint Patrick's currently is seeking folks who would be interested in serving as a delegate to our annual Diocesan Convention. We need to elect one adult and one youth. The adult candidate would serve a three year term, while youth serve one year terms. To learn more about what is involved, or two express interest, please speak with Mark Forbes.

Grammy and Indie Award winning Al Petteway & Amy White will be performing on Sunday, June 16, at 7:00 pm as part of the Saint Patrick's Solas Leighis concert series. Event includes a wine & cheese Meet-the-Artist reception.  Tickets available at the door: $15 for adults, $10 students, under 6 free.  All proceeds benefit community outreach.  Visit our website to learn more.
