A gentle reminder that all are encouraged to remain after the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday for a brief groundbreaking ceremony with Dr. Cram, followed immediately by a report on the financial state of our parish led by members of the Finance Committee and Vestry.
Our Adult forum in the Sanctuary this Sunday will be led by Pam Hatley. Pam's program is titled "Images of God." Episcopal Relief & Development has stepped in and is assisting in relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. On Sunday, October 28th, the Vestry hosted a Seniors Roundtable Discussion. Attendees were asked to form a list of what we do well, and what we need to work on. The notes from that meeting are available by clicking here. It is a three page document. Page one lists the things we do well, page two lists the things we need to work on, and page three is a prioritized list of the page two list based on the number of people present who agreed on the item's importance.
Following on the heels of our recent Seniors luncheon, Saint Patrick's is in the process of forming an ad hoc committee to address the needs highlighted from the gathering. The purpose of the committee will be to critically examine these highlighted needs and advise the vestry on the practicalities and implementation of potential new Seniors ministries.
