What can be done when gastroparesis treatments don't seem to help?

Gastroparesis remains a poorly understood condition and finding effective treatments can be challenging. Many people respond to dietary changes combined with some medical management for the condition, but that doesn't work for everyone. Here are some things to think about when your current treatment for gastroparesis doesn't appear to be helping.

Help us solve the puzzle

Those of us who live with chronic digestive conditions have many questions:
  • What causes these conditions?
  • What's the best treatment?
  • Where is the cure?
Finding the answers is like putting together a puzzle. Research is how these answers are found - every new finding is a piece of the puzzle. But, the scientific community needs your help to obtain funding for this research. By giving to IFFGD, you can support these research efforts.

Your gift will make you a part of the process of discovery - the process that advances science, fosters hope, and changes lives.

Make your gift
IFFGD, a nonprofit organization, and its grassroots arm, the Digestive Health Alliance (DHA), rely on donor support to fund research and to provide reliable information and support to those affected by functional gastrointestinal and motility disorders.
