DON'T DUCK GIVES HOPE
Anna Dangerfield and I spent an hour a week for the past five weeks with the children at Brothers and Sisters Club. We had so much fun reading stories, talking and sharing with each other about ways to handle stress, how to understand grief, how to control our anger, how to respond to a bully and how to get through a "horrible, yucky day". Through Don't Duck the children now have a better understanding that many of the hard times we go through affects our mental health. The children learned that this is normal too. Most importantly, they learned there is always hope.

Support Operation Santa
The bags are ready and waiting to be stuffed.
The menu is planned and new volunteers who have heard about how this Christmas tradition changes lives are calling asking how they can help. We still have over 100 individuals in need of a sponsor. If you'd like to sponsor an Operation Santa attendee, please call us at 641-4164 or drop by the office at 233 Pendleton St. NW. If you'd like to help by making a donation to this annual program, you may do so on-line or by mail to PO Box 1074.
