Halloween Pet Safety

Halloween is a fun-filled holiday for children and adults; however, the scary creatures, silly costumes, decorations and treats can be frightening and even dangerous for dogs and cats.  I recommend following these guidelines to keep your pet safe and stress-free on Halloween:  Read on Link

Dog of the Month - Babe & Taz

Babe & Taz are two special dogs in our family of canines.  As mere babies, they started going to our sister shop in Gilbert back in February 2011.  When Chandler Dogs opened in November 2011, they were one of the first dogs in the door!  Two years later, they are still visiting us at least 3 times a week every week. Taz (El Diablo) is a powerhouse dog when it comes to play, he likes to wrestle.  Babe loves to try and control the play of all the dogs on the floor, and when it doesn't go her way, she calls on brother Taz to help!  Over time, we've learned that Taz is quite the ladies' man.  We usually design the play group with Taz and a whole bunch of ladies.  Sister Babe is usually with all the boys in a different play group.  About a year ago, their parents went to Ireland for a month and Stephen, Chandler Dogs owner, bonded with the siblings by taking them home twice a week over the course of the month to spend a little rest & relaxation in their home environment.  Babe & Taz are the heart and soul of Chandler Dogs weekends.  We all love them dearly!

Staff Spotlight - Carlos Johnson

Hi My Name is Carlos Johnson. I have been the Manager of Chandler Dogs 24/7 since August of 2012. I have been with the company for a total of nearly 2 years but have worked in the dog industry for over 4 years. My passion is dogs! I love dogs with every part of my body and think they are the best friend that anyone could ever ask for. I rescued, fostered and socialized  power breeds (German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Bull Mastiffs and Pit bulls) for about 4 years and had to stop 3 years ago due to my son being born. I currently have a 8 year old  pug named Star. She grew up with big dogs and loves to keep them in line. :) The best part of my job is being with the dogs, loving on them, and helping them to be the great dogs that they where born to be! I am so blessed to be able to have a career that is also my passion in life!
