Green Living
Extra, Extra! Green Living Arrives Tomorrow!
The askHRgreen.org team will be up bright and early tomorrow morning. Know why? We've been eagerly awaiting the 2nd edition of Green Living in our daily newspaper. Frankly, we can hardly wait a minute more. This special insert, developed by writers here at askHRgreen.org, is packed with articles to get you thinking about how the actions we take (fertilizing our lawns, raking leaves into the street, recycling, even flushing the toilet) really impact the environment here in Hampton Roads. In addition, it will be filled with tips of simple things that we can do to make the green life easy-and sustainable.

In this issue, you can:
» Explore our Hampton Roads watershed and see why the time to improve our region's water quality is at hand.
» Go beyond the big blue bin and examine the business of recycling.
» Learn tips for keeping a "green" yard from a true garden guru, Jim Orband.
» Follow the path of water through our vast (and often forgotten) infrastructure.
» Learn why it's time to "break up" with a common household appliance.

So, please look for Green Living - Spring 2013 tomorrow, April 17, in both The Virginian-Pilot and The Daily Press. Or, download a copy at askHRgreen.org. Once you've had a peek, let us know what you think by leaving a note at askhrgreen.org/contact. 'Till tomorrow!
