It not a matter of if your hard drive will fail - it's when. The average life of a hard drive is 5 years. Your computer's hard drive stores all of your documents, pictures, music and other important files that you keep on your computer. Are you prepared if tomorrow a virus locks you out of all of your files, your hard drive fails, or your data is stolen or damaged by fire or natural disaster? Now is the time to backup your important data - before disaster strikes...
As you access the internet and email this holiday season, please be aware of these common scams to watch out for:
  1. Calls from someone claiming to be from Microsoft - telling you that you've been hacked or have a virus.
  2. Remote support scare tactics luring you into a yearly tech support plan.
  3. Unusual/unexpected email from people you know with strange links, bad grammar, or asking for money.
  4. Unusual/unexpected email from a business - viruses disguised as package delivery notices from UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.
  5. Email accounts being hacked due to non-unique passwords being used.
In April 2014, Microsoft will end support of Windows XP. The 12-year-old operating system was the standard operating system offered on new PCs from 2001 through 2007. A Windows XP computer won't stop working in April 2014, but the absence of monthly critical security updates will make it more susceptible to getting viruses and malware that can damage or steal your personal information if the computer is continued to be connected to the internet.

Cheap Unlicensed Computer Repair -

"You Get What You Pay For"

Do you have a friend or neighbor who works with computers in their spare time? Do they actively keep-up with the computer industry and fix computers on a daily basis like we do?

Computer Techs has been in business since 2003, and our technicians have over 20 years of computer experience.

Our calls for service have leveled off in the past few years due to an abundance of new inexperienced and unlicensed computer repair people. Similar to hiring an unlicensed contractor to work on your home, it may be cheaper to go with someone else in the short term. However, you can count on Computer Techs to get the job done quickly and correctly, and we'll be available the next time you need service. We are often called to finish repairing what someone else didn't fix correctly.

We appreciate referrals

If you're happy with our professionalism and expert service, please let others know:

· If you recommend us to a friend or family member, as a way of saying "thank you" for referring us we will reward you with a discount on your next service call. For details please see the details of our $20 referral reward.

· When people search the internet for computer repair, they often search Google, YellowPages.com or Yahoo Local. Please consider leaving a review of our service at one or more of the following web sites:
