World Bicycle Relief.
A contribution of 10% of every new and renewed membership and every donation to NJBWC will be made directly to World Bicycle Relief between now and May 15.
If you were at the recent
2014 NJ Bike & Walk Summit, you will
remember the compelling and joyous presentation by FK Day, President of WBR and Co-founder of SRAM, as he described how the specially designed Buffalo Bicycle can change lives in Zambia and other developing countries.
Karen Jenkins, NJBWC Board Chair and I are going to Zambia from May 15 to 25 to visit World Bicycle Relief. We expect to help the staff deliver Buffalo Bicycles to school children, healthcare workers, and small businesses. We have checked our passports, purchased our plane tickets, and will soon receive our immunizations. You can be part of our journey and make it possible for more Zambians to have a Buffalo Bicycle by joining or renewing your membership in NJBWC or making a donation.
Whether you join or renew at the bronze membership level of $35 or higher, become a Lifetime Member or make a donation to NJBWC, 10% of all funds raised between now and May 15 will go directly to World Bicycle Relief. Karen and I will also send you a postcard from Zambia!
When you join NJBWC at the $100 level or higher, you will also receive
For $1,000, you can become a Lifetime Member of NJBWC and will receive a NJBWC jersey in addition to an autographed copy of Life is a Wheel.
Remember, everyone who joins or renews their membership, makes a donation to NJBWC, or purchases a jersey will contribute directly to WBR and receive a postcard sent from Zambia. So don't wait! Karen and I need your address before we depart for Zambia on May 15 so we can send you a post card!
