Coming soon: Municode Website Enhancements

The City of San Antonio contracts with the Municipal Code Corporation (Municode) for codification and publication of its City Codes, including Chapter 35, the Unified Development Code (UDC).

Municode is enhancing its website with a new modern look and improved functionality over the next few days. The URL address will remain the same:

If you regularly use it to access the UDC, or any other City of San Antonio Codes, we believe you will be impressed with the upgrades.

For questions about the UDC enhancements, contact Christopher Looney, DSD Policy Administrator, at 210.207.5889.

Here's what you said about us...

Michael Dice, Jim Flood, Richard Chamberlin, Terry Kannawin, Amin Tohmaz, Plan Review, and Michael Shannon, Field Services

I've listed the folks that helped wrap up the Frost Building Fire System permit projects who were integral to the whole process. By identifying problems with, and modifying the 3rd Party PE Certification process for Fire Systems Permits, the whole team working with the community, drafted proposed modifications, met with the community stakeholders, and implemented a policy that was efficient and helpful, even staying late to issue a permit for the new over-the-counter process. Great work and thank you for all the help.

Claudia Padilla (and the Inspections Team), Field Services

Claudia and the entire staff went above and beyond in helping us with permits and inspections on our projects.  The Pre Con Meetings that were held were so helpful!  The fact that when we call with questions they get answered is amazing.  I have built many projects throughout the United States and have never had a municipality so helpful and so eager to complete a project on time.  Even the plan reviewers are so helpful and are willing to meet and discuss.

But Claudia is a true asset to your program and we appreciate everything she does.

Thank you all!

Connie Paquette, Field Services

Connie was very professional and polite. She peacefully resolved a sticky situation with a neighbor and replied to my e-mail with all the requested information. THANK YOU!!

John Anglin, Field Services

I walked into an inspection in process where John was assisting a new inspector.  I feel blessed with the selection of the city to choose John as a mentor for our future inspectors, he is knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you.

Gabby Tello, Land Development

Gabby did an amazing job to help calm an irate customer.  As things started to escalate with this customer she showed great patience while responding.  She reassured him and was able to turn the situation totally around.  Great job!
