PTA Boosterthon Fun Run
The PTA Wants To Thank You!

Our students enjoyed the Rock 'N Town Live character lessons and songs brought to our campus by the Boosterthon team. Many students were heard around the school "thanking their crowd"! The PTA would like to thank all of our families that made pledges for students, volunteered, and/or came out to cheer our children on for the Boosterthon Fun Run. The students loved running around the race track with their friends.

Thank you for the support you have shown with pledges so far! Remember, it is not too late to get pledges as you start to collect funds. All pledge money is due Thursday, April 16th. BES PTA appreciates all of your support!

Brookwood Cluster Witzzle Pro Champions for 4th & 5th Grade!

Brookwood ES hosted the 6th Annual Brookwood Cluster Witzzle Pro Tournament to over 100 fourth and fifth graders this past Tuesday, March 31st. Nevin Gregory was the 5th grade runner-up and Makena Bongcaron was the 4th grade runner-up. Rida Merani and Edozie Aligwekwe are this year's Brookwood Cluster Witzzle Pro Champions for 4th and 5th grade. They will compete in the Gwinnett County tournament on May 2nd. Good luck to Rida and Edozie!
Congratulations to Safeer Mithani!

Fifth grader, Safeer Mithani, competed in the 12 county 4-H District Project Achievement contest on Saturday, March 28th at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. This contest involved public speaking illustrated with posters. He placed 3rd in the International Project.

Crews Middle School Events

Crews' Rising 6th Grade Parent Night
Monday, April 20th.
At 5:45 p.m. in the cafeteria, Dr. Schepens will present information on all math classes, including standard, 6th accelerated, and 7th accelerated. All are welcome to attend. The general program will begin promptly at 6:15 p.m. (click here or visit www.crews.org for agenda). Crews is looking forward to meeting the parents of our rising Broncos!!!

Education City at Home is available free of charge to ALL Brookwood ES students for the 2014-2015 School Year. Education City is an online software program that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science.

  • To log on to Education City, go to www.brookwoodelementary.com, click on Curriculum Links, and click on General Interest. Education City will be listed on the left side.
  • The username is the student number followed by a 1; for example, for 200344662, the username would be 2003446621
