We kicked off the PTA Boosterthon on Monday! Students had a "Rock 'N good time" at the pep rally. Students have been learning five ways to make their community rock with Boosterthon's character theme "Rock 'N Town Live," a music festival theme all about community.  The goal of the Boosterthon Fun Run is to raise funds while teaching our kids the importance of Fitness, Leadership, and Character. We are raising funds for technology, instructional materials, and for enhancements to the media center to support technology use. Our students are looking forward to
the Fun Run on Wednesday, April 1st. Your family is invited to come out and cheer them on!

Thank you to our BES Volunteers!
We were thrilled with last Friday's turnout at the Volunteer Breakfast. It is because of all of the hard work and dedication of our volunteers that we are able to accomplish so much at Brookwood Elementary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The chorus students with soloist positions for the upcoming production of Broadway Beat serenaded the volunteers. Thank you to Rebecca Lyons, Hannah Mobley, Raina Wallace, Nicole Davis, Harper Kurth, Mandy Le, Katie Baker, Rylee Owen, Iris Smith, Alia Settles. Shayna Jenkins, Sofia Vergara, and Michayla Bell for an outstanding rendition of "For Good" from the Broadway musical Wicked. It was a wonderful way to start the breakfast!
Thank you to Mrs. Burnett!
Thank you to Mrs. Burnett for being such a bookworm and leading our Brookwood Elementary Reader's Rally all year. Everyone did an awesome job! Read on!
