You're Invited - Tapestry Art Show

March 4-10

 

Every year GCPS hosts Tapestry: Festival of the Arts Show. Students in K-12th grade from all across the county have their artwork selected to be showcased at the ISC building in Suwanee. Ms. Cunningham would love for parents to come and enjoy this amazing and free event.

 

Opening night - Wed., March 4th - 6:00-7:30 pm. Artwork will be on display until the following Tuesday. This year there are 39 students with artwork representing Brookwood Elementary School. This is quite an honor!

 

The following school clusters will exhibit student work during Tapestry Week 1 (March 4-10): Brookwood, Collins Hill, Dacula, Meadowcreek, Peachtree Ridge, and Shiloh

 

GCPS Instructional Support Center (ISC) will be open for viewing on Sat., March 7 (7:00-4:00 pm) and Sun., March 8 (1:00-6:00 pm) - 437 Old Peachtree Road NW, Suwanee

GCPS Bring Your Own Device, Online Textbooks, Resources, & eCLASS, and Education City

Education City at Home is available free of charge to ALL Brookwood ES students for the 2014-2015 School Year. Education City is an online software program that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science.

  • To log on to Education City, go to www.brookwoodelementary.com, click on Curriculum Links, and click on General Interest. Education City will be listed on the left side.
  • The username is the student number followed by a 1; for example, for 200344662, the username would be 2003446621
  • The password is brookwood

Last chance to order your yearbook. Yearbooks will be on sale at school Monday, Feb. 23 through Friday, March 6.
