Thank You PTA And Parents For The Be Sweet To Staff Treats!
Brookwood Elementary parents and PTA take such good care of the Brookwood staff. Endless amounts of flowers, lunches, gifts and goodies came in all week for teachers and staff to show appreciation. Friday, the parents and PTA sent in homemade baked goods for Be Sweet To Staff. Teacher Appreciation Week was a success! Thank you.

Technology Retrofit 
Brookwood Elementary
Feb. 13 - March 2
Parents, you may have noticed all the equipment being delivered to our building on Friday, Feb. 13th. Brookwood Elementary is undergoing a technology upgrade called Retrofit which is paid for by SPLOST. You will continue to see computers and technology equipment arrive or being removed during the Retrofit. Brookwood's teachers and students are excited to have new technology in all the labs, Media Center and classrooms.  

GCPS Bring Your Own Device, Online Textbooks, Resources, & eCLASS, and Education City

Education City at Home is available free of charge to ALL Brookwood ES students for the 2014-2015 School Year. Education City is an online software program that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science.

  • To log on to Education City, go to www.brookwoodelementary.com, click on Curriculum Links, and click on General Interest. Education City will be listed on the left side.
  • The username is the student number followed by a 1; for example, for 200344662, the username would be 2003446621
  • The password is brookwood

STEM Nights 
Parents and students got a chance to participate in the engineering process during our recent STEM nights.Together, families explored solutions to challenges, tested their designs and revised as needed.These STEM activities incorporated Science,Technology, Engineering and Math--keys to getting our students College and Career Ready.
Brookwood ES is in the 2nd of a 3- year process in earning STEM certification.Our students were proud to showcase their talents.Thank you for continuing to support our teaching and learning!
