Brookwood's Power Club had an exciting visit to the GCPS Instructional Support Center for the 5th Annual Elementary School Peer Leadership Conference. We had sessions on the "Power of One," and how it only takes one person to make a difference.

A cluster STEM related activity for the whole family! We will have a lot of hands-on activities for kids.In addition, our labs will be open for students to work on online tutorials.

5th Gr. Chorus Parents - Please Read

Saturday, Dec. 13th - Gwinnett Gladiators Game Performance - Arrive at 6:00 p.m.

Gwinnett Arena - 6400 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Duluth, GA 30097

  1. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from The Gwinnett Arena.
  2. The doors to the Arena will open at 6:00 p.m. and Brookwood will be meeting in the concourse behind section 121- PLEASE COME TO THE "ARMY DOORS" ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LOBBY TO ENTER. We'll have signs up to point you in that direction. Also - if you'll have your ticket out and ready for us to scan, we can get everyone to their spots quicker.
  3. Brookwood will be one of the first schools we seat, so please plan on arriving at 6:00 p.m.   
  4. The students will be singing from section 122 and the parents will be sitting in section 119.
  5. All parents that have ordered tickets and provided an email address should have received their tickets in their email by now.
  6. Students were given their tickets Friday at school. Look in their Friday folder to locate their ticket.
  7. After students perform, parents should pick up their student from Ms. Hinton in the section where they performed. Students will sit with their parents for the remainder of the game. 

IMPORTANT - WALKER REMINDER!

For the safety of all students, only students who live in the following subdivisions should walk/ride a bike TO or FROM SCHOOL: Brookwood Manor, Nash Farms, Hollybrook Farms, or Brookwood Estates. All other students should be Bus Riders or Car Riders, using the Car Rider Line. 
BYOD - BRING IT! - eCLASS  
BYOD is coming to Brookwood ES. Beginning in January some of our classrooms in Grades 2-5 will be piloting the new GCPS Bring Your Own Device program. Classroom teachers will be letting parents know if they will be participating. We are excited about this opportunity to enhance classroom activities. Lost  and Found - Important  

Attention Parents and Students! Our Lost and Found items are overflowing! Please look for any missing jackets, hats, gloves and lunch boxes. The Lost and Found rack will remain next to the Clinic until Friday, December 19th. All unclaimed items will be donated to those in need at the end of the day on Friday, December 19th.
