Inclement Weather Announcements

In the event of any inclement weather this week (or anytime), Gwinnett County School leaders will monitor the weather and road conditions.  As a rule, the decision to cancel school is made before 6 a.m.  The school system immediately notifies all major radio and television stations in the Atlanta area. In addition, the information is announced on GCPS TV and posted on the system's website, Twitter, and Facebook page.

We will make our best efforts to send out an email notice as well, however, these sources of information are the most effective way to find out about any possible school delay or closing.
 

Due to the weather forecast and concerns about road conditions, all Gwinnett County Public Schools afterschool and evening activities are cancelled for tonight.
