Dear Parents,

I want you to know that I have decided to retire at the end of this school year.  This has been a very hard decision for me because I love Brookwood Elementary and all the people connected to it.  I feel so blessed to have been able to lead this group of educators in serving the students of this community for the past eight years.  I have been at Brookwood Elementary for a total of twenty-six years serving as a teacher, an Assistant Principal and now Principal.  It has been such a privilege and honor!  Thank you all so much for your support and for sending us such great students!  Even though I am leaving, there are amazing people here who will continue the great work and will embrace the challenge of continuing to improve!  They will continue to need your support!  Thank you for making my years at Brookwood Elementary so rewarding and meaningful to me!  I love your children and I feel blessed that you share them with us.
