Teachers really enjoyed meeting and working with our Principal For A Day, Teresa Osborn, Executive Director at the Hudgens Center for the Arts. Mrs. Osborn met with grade chair members, toured classrooms, observed student art, and went to the Principal Cluster meeting. It was a busy day for Mrs. Osborn and we loved having her here at Brookwood!

Student Principal For A Day

Teachers and students had a really fun day as Jack Stephens was Student Principal For A Day. He worked side by side with Mrs. Head and continued to learn throughout the day. Students enjoyed Jack's "rules" and supported him with encouragement. The Brookwood High School Drumline came by and entertained us and even had Jack play with them! Way to go Jack!

Mrs. Swan & Mrs. Holland's Classes Played A Great Game of "Jail Break" With The Staff!
The two winning 5th grade classes worked together for a common goal donating funds to the new gym floor. The teamwork was shared when they played a friendly game of Jail Break against the staff.  We are not sure who laughed more, the staff or the students! Way to have great sportsmanship! We have great students at Brookwood Elementary!
