United Way Hat Day
Friday, Nov. 1st
All Students - $1 To Wear A Hat

Proceeds go to United Way - Thank you for your contribution!

Any student that wants to wear a hat or cap at school, please follow these guidelines so that your hat does not disrupt learning:

 

Baseball-style caps, bucket hats, visors, knit hats ONLY!!

NO large hats, "Cat in the Hat" style hats, cowboy hats, etc. are allowed.

Donate $1 per entry for your chance to perform on the morning announcements! Print as many forms as you need and enter as many times as you would like.

Open to Grades K-5.

Brookwood Elementary Has A Float In The Homecoming Parade!

Thank you Mr. Hopf, Mr. Kearney and the float crew for all their hard work on the float! It is a great time of year to live in the Brookwood community!

 
The whole community is invited to the Brookwood High School Homecoming Parade, October 25 at 4:15 p.m. The parade will wind through Brookwood Manor & down Dogwood Road. This is a fun event for all ages. Kids may want to bring baggies, because candy is usually thrown from the vehicles in the parade. At 7:30 p.m. (Oct. 25) - Everyone is invited to the Homecoming football game at the Brookwood Community Stadium. Go Brookwood!!!!

Education City

educcityThis is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family. Free Math Tutorial Access

  1. Go to the Gwinnett Online Campus Website: www.gwinnettonlinecampus.com
  2. Click "LOGINS" in the upper right corner.
  3. Username: brookwoodesmath
  4. Password: brookwoodesmath
  5. Select desired tutorial.
  6. For grade 4, click the "Content" tab in the upper left corner of the screen to begin the tutorial.  For all other grades, you wil be prompted to "click here" to begin the tutorial.
