Dear Brookwood Elementary Parents,

 

I hope that you are enjoying your summer with your children. We have been working hard to get ready for an exciting year at Brookwood Elementary. Please note that this year school will begin on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.

 

On Monday, August 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., we will have our Meet Your Teacher Day. Please come anytime between those hours and bring your child to see their classroom and meet their teacher. Please complete the clinic card that was mailed to you and bring it with you. We will have lots of staff and parent volunteers in the hallways to help you find your way.

   

Brookwood Elementary orientation for the upcoming year is again available through MyPaymentsPlus. We have automated the orientation process and placed it online in hopes of bringing back the true focus of Meet Your Teacher Day - less paperwork for our parents and more interaction with your student's teachers. Online orientation via MyPaymentsPlus will be available beginning July 20, 2013. In order to improve the open house experience, all parents are strongly encouraged to complete the following steps prior to Meet Your Teacher Day on August 5th: 

• If you already have a MyPayments Plus account- simply log-in at www.MyPaymentsPlus.com by entering your Username and Password.
• If you do not have a MyPaymentsPlus account- visit www.MyPaymentsPlus.com and select "Register a Free Account". Use your child's student ID number to complete registration.
• Upon sign in, you may view/print the necessary paperwork to complete your 2013-2014 school orientation. Once you acknowledge that you have read these documents, you may continue to the next screen. You will then be allowed to pay fees and make contributions for various items such as school supply contributions, technology supply contributions, clinic donations, gym floor donation, PTA membership, PTA cultural arts donations, PTA student directory, Brookwood Schools Foundation donations, school meals, etc. Once you have made your fee/contribution choices, you may continue through the payment process.
