Brookwood Elementary PTA would like to pass along information regarding the "Take Charge of Education" program. Please see the attached information. Target pdf

Important Dates

  • April 22-26 - Gr. 3-5-CRCT Testing - No Lunch Guests
  • April 29 - Parents' Night Out/ Dinner and a Movie Registration in the lobby by the counseling suite.  (first come first serve)
  • April 29- May 2 - Change for Champions (to benefit Gwinnett County Special Olympics school age program)
  • April 29 - Make-Up CRCT Testing
  • April 29 - No Lunch Guests for the rest of the school year due to school activities in May - Please see school calendar
  • May 2 - 9:00 am 4th Gr. Cultural Arts - David Ginn
  • May 2 - 10:00-6:00 pm - Kindergarten Registration
  • May 3 - 9:05 am - 5th Grade Visit Crews and Five Forks MS
  • May 3 - 4:00 - 8:00 pm - Parents' Night Out/ Dinner and a Movie
PTA  - TrueBlueSchools Program
trueblueThe PTA is excited about a program we would like to share with you!  It's called the TrueBlueSchools program.  Georgia Natural Gas will donate $5 a month (from their funds) to our school if you link your existing or new account to Brookwood Elementary.  Residential and commercial accounts are included.  If we have just 100 accounts linked to Brookwood, we can raise $6,000 in a year.  Go to TrueBlueSchools.comor call 1-866-ONLYGNG for more information and to link your account.  The steps are quick and easy to link your account or switch providers to GNG.  They will also give you a discount per therm if you use promocode: TrueBlue.  Thank you for supporting Brookwood!!  (See attached flyer) switch n save pdf

Education City

educcityThis is an online software program (www.educationcity.com) that targets Georgia learning standards in the areas of Math, Language Arts, and Science. Students work on creative activities that teach them needed academic strands at the same time. The children love this software! Home licenses usually cost around $75 for a year but through Brookwood Elementary you can purchase a home license for $10 for one child plus $5 for each additional child in the same family. Free Math Tutorial Access

  1. Go to the Gwinnett Online Campus Website: www.gwinnettonlinecampus.com
  2. Click "LOGINS" in the upper right corner.
  3. Username: brookwoodesmath
  4. Password: brookwoodesmath
  5. Select desired tutorial.
  6. For grade 4, click the "Content" tab in the upper left corner of the screen to begin the tutorial.  For all other grades, you wil be prompted to "click here" to begin the tutorial.
